PWAS-Multisensor

Accidents involving vehicles reversing are a frequent safety concern on worksites. The Proximity Warning and Alert System (PWAS) is designed to address this issue by using multiple sensors to detect all nearby people and objects, regardless of tagging. By issuing timely warnings and integrating with the vehicle’s control systems, the PWAS enhances collision avoidance and improves overall safety, offering comprehensive coverage and reducing the risk of accidents.

  • Wide Coverage: Provides extensive angle detection for comprehensive surveillance.
  • Object Detection: Identifies any objects entering the detection zone.
  • Warnings: Delivers visual and audible alerts for potential dangers.
  • Blind Spot Elimination: Reduces or eliminates areas not visible to the operator.
  • Adjustable Range: Allows customization of the detection range from 6 to 12 meters.
  • Bluetooth Configuration: Facilitates easy setup and adjustments via a mobile app.
  • Universal Fit: Compatible with all types of machinery.
  • Incident Reporting: Records and reports events and hazards for effective risk management.
  • Multiple Sensors: Utilizes multiple sensors to enhance safety by providing comprehensive coverage and reducing blind spots.

PWAS Control Unit

The PWAS control unit is positioned next to the heavy equipment operator inside the vehicle. It activates an alarm when detecting personnel or objects approaching the hazard zone, alerting the operator to potential dangers. The unit also records events and hazards, providing valuable data for assessing and managing worksite risks. Additionally, the system utilizes multiple sensors to enhance safety by offering comprehensive coverage and reducing blind spots, further improving the operator's ability to avoid accidents.

PWAS Sensor

The PWAS sensors are mounted on the rear, left, and right sides of the vehicle, creating a comprehensive detection zone that identifies personnel and objects from all angles. The standard detection range is set to eight meters, with the flexibility to be adjusted according to site-specific requirements. The use of multiple sensors enhances the detection angle, significantly improving safety by minimizing blind spots to nearly zero.

Proximity Zone

Backover accidents frequently result from limited operator visibility. The Proximity Zone addresses this issue by establishing a designated hazard area where objects crossing it are detected. The system includes sensors mounted on the rear, left, and right sides of the vehicle, providing a comprehensive detection zone with approximately 180 degrees of coverage and an 8-meter range. The use of multiple sensors enhances the detection angle, further increasing safety by minimizing blind spots to almost zero and ensuring a more thorough surveillance of the hazard area.

PWAS Camera & Monitor

PWAS Camera & Monitor

Integrating the PWAS Camera and Monitor with the PWAS enhances operator confidence by improving visibility of personnel and property in the machinery's blind spots. Cameras are installed at both the front and rear of the machinery, while the monitor is situated in the cab to provide clear visual feedback and alerts. Additional cameras can be added as needed to meet specific site requirements.
